AIM delegation comprising of President Rajkumar Dhurgude and Treasurer Sarjerao Shisode had a meeting with Hon Agriculture Director Shri Vikas Patil and CQCO Shri Deshmukh on 7th February 2024.
The meeting was to discuss about and to understand the recent developments pertaining to calling of certain Companies for presentation who have got Form G-3.
Hon Director clarified that as per INM guidelines mentioned on Form G3, every manufacturer has to apply to state governments and obtain an authorisation letter from the notified authority of concern state.
In this regard, said presentations have been called from randomly selected Companies to understand their manufacturing process and analysis methods etc in the presence of scientists from the Agriculture Universities. This will help to formulate a seamless procedure in future for the issuance of such permissions in the state. He further stated that the department has no intention of giving any trouble to these Companies.
AIM delegation also informed the Hon Director that AIM members are applying for Form G for 8 biostimulants based on data pooled by the members before the deadline of 22nd February 2024.
AIM appeals to their members who have been called for presentation to kindly do so without any hesitation. They can also inform the authorities about Efficacy and Toxicology trails conducted by AIM.
