AIM delegation comprising of the President Rajkumar Dhurgude, Secretary Sameer Pathare and Vice Secretary Vaibhav Kashikar had meeting with the CONTROLLER of FERTILIZERS ( Joint Secretary-INM ) Mrs. Neerja Adidam in New Delhi on 5th March,2021.
The meeting went of very well and AIM’s submission about various Clauses in the Notification about Toxicity and Efficacy Data, MRL of Bio-stimulant, EC Act, Nomination in Central Biostimulant Committee as well as Pool Data was taken very positively by the JS- INM. AIM strongly put forward the grievances raised by the SMEs and MSMEs mainly with respect to the generation of Toxicity and Efficacy data and general concern about MRL of 0.01 ppm in Bio-stimulant formulation.
Procedures for getting the Provisional and Permanent Registration Certificate were also discussed in details. We are in the process of understanding the same and we are expecting to provide a clear picture to members in AIM’s forthcoming AGM on 20th March,2021.
AIM delegation also had a fruitful interaction with the Law Officer Mr. Singh with respect to various clauses of the notification.
