We are pleased to inform you about recent development for betterment of farmers .
Ministry of Agriculture ( Policy Division ) had called a meeting on 14.03.2017 at New Delhi in the context of DOUBLING OF FARMERS'S INCOME BY 2022 . As we all are well aware , this is the dream of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi . AIM association was also invited to participate in the meeting and share views to help government to make policy which will benefit farmers and increase their income . The inputs from various sectors will be used to formulate a strategy which will achieve this important goal .
AIM was represented by our President Mr. Rajkumar Dhurgude and Treasurer Mr. S. V. Shisode who made effective presentation in front of many prominent members of ministry of Agriculture as well as different association representatives like FAI and others . The presentation covered AIM 'S contributions in promotion of Herbal - Bio products by bringing manufacturers under one roof . AIM also explained advantages of herbal - bio products over chemical - pesticide products . The presentation generated huge interest mainly about nature of our different products . AIM also suggested different ways to increase farmer's income e.g. by diversion of surplus production to food processing units , establishment of centres to guide farmers for obtaining quality produce for export and need of effective distribution system so that farmers will get good rates for their produce .
We sincerely hope that positive prospects will emerge out soon for farmers and members of AIM .
