This is a historical day and the day of triumph for the AIM Association! The work done by AIM for generation of Pool Data including Efficacy & Toxicity Trails and other data since 2011 has finally being recognized by the government.
In the above guidelines in sr 4) it is clearly stated that Data generated by Industrial Associations as per biostimulant Notification is valid for inclusion of biostimulants in schedule VI of FCO 1985.
AIM Association delegation comprising President Rajkumar Dhurgude along with Sameer Pathare and Vaibhav Kashikar had met the Hon Agriculture Commissioner Dr P.K. Singh on 30th May 2023 and had requested to approve the pool data since it was already submitted to the INM on 6th February 2023. In this meeting it was evident that the Hon AC was well versed with the entire notification and AIM’s data generation work and had congratulated AIM for the constructive approach. AIM also informed him that the data is also presented in front of the CBC and that AIM was following up INM since the last 2 years continuously and a very large data was already submitted. He also praised AIM for their efforts for organising AIM Biostimulant Congress last year for spreading awareness about bio-stimulants among manufacturers as well as scientific community and govt officials.
The meeting was very fruitful and he had ensured that the common data approval will be soon published in the form of the guidelines. The same has been reflected above.
