Meeting with the Commissioner of Agriculture dated on 5 July, 2019

AIM UPDATE : 05.07.2019
AIM delegation had a meeting with the Commissioner of Agriculture today. The submission regards to Manufacture and Sale of Non FCO nutrient products was made. The letter is enclosed herewith. The Commissioner also took information about Court Stay orders pertaining to non registered products and remarked about unavailability of statute for the non registered products.
The Commissioner appreciated AIM's efforts of conducting Efficacy trial data and Toxicology data. He was positive for making regulation for non registered products. He also stressed the need to send state's recommendations to the Central Government for including non FCO chelates in FCO 1985.
The Commissioner promised to take the matter forward and invite AIM again to discuss matter in detail soon.
The delegation later met the new Director of Agriculture Mr. V. Ghavte. He too showed positive intent to make some regulation for non registered products soon through notification.
